"We discovered this restaurant by mistake! And it was the best experience! We been here 6 times in a row! We enjoyed the wild atmosphere and exceptional Italian dining at Layan Beach, nestled in Sirinat Park. The food is the best you’ll find on the beach—fresh, flavorful, and typical Italian. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, with top-notch service that made the day even more special. The tiramisu was a dream—highly recommend! The stunning view of the beach adds a magical touch to the experience. A must-visit for food lovers!"*"

"Thai Italian Restaurant run since 10y by a Thai Italian couple. excellent pasta (and NO pizza) seafood as fresh as can get, reasonable prices if not some cheap for the quality. much better than the posh wanna be Italians at Boat Avenue etc. basic ambience. highly recommended bring swimwear and go to the lovely beach opposite side. ask to see the whole fish in the kitchen tell the guard at the gate of the national park you have to pass you are eating otherwise thb 40 entrance fee"

"a very good experience, very good and friendly owners, but, more important a top quality italian cuisine. we had mix fried seafood, which was light and very well fried (pic enclosed) and then spaghetti alla carbonara, without cream (no cream is used in Italy) , but using the right ingredients, they were really the best we have had in Thailand in the last nearly 7 years. it is worth mentioning that my wife and myself are both italians and therefore quite critical in judging italian food. we really recommend this small restaurant on the beach."

"The restaurant is called "National Park's restaurant - Thai Italiano", I believe. It’s located right at the entrance of the national park (don’t worry, there are no entrance fees required). It’s a Thai–Italian restaurant, co-managed, offering both Thai and Italian specialties. The Italian dishes honestly feel like you’re eating in Italy — absolutely authentic. This is by far the best restaurant in the area; you won’t find anything better nearby. Prices are also much cheaper than anywhere else, whether in town or around. I genuinely recommend it without hesitation. After discovering it, I ended up eating there almost every day. On top of that, the view is stunning: a canal on one side and the beach on the othe, truly idyllic. For information: there are two restaurants listed on Google Maps, and there is a confusion bewteen them (this one and a smoothie/thai fast-food nearby)"

"First time there today. A kind friend took me. We had 3 Thai seafood dishes. They were very tasty! The tiramisu looked very good but I was top full to have it. Definitely another time!"

"Second day in a row I stop by this nice restaurant to have lunch. I ordered rice yesterday and pasta today- I enjoyed both meals. The portions were so large though to the point I couldn't finish it. I was surprised when they brought my leftovers in a take away box- very kind of them; too bad I didn’t have anywhere to put it to take with me. Nice and friendly waitress; the owner (I think he is) seems very caring and serves some tables himself. You do need to make yourself noticeable though if you want to order something else after the food is served. That didn’t bother me at all, just a kind suggestion to visitors not to be shy to signal the staff if you need something- they smile and come right away. Overall, calm and warm atmosphere. Lots of parking lots close by. As a bonus, there are showers in washrooms, so I could wash the sand off my feet after the beach."

"Food is great! Too bad they don't open for dinner. The Italian chap is always grumpy. Cheer up!"

"Our favorite place ever since for authentic Italian seafood experience. Next to a quite beach with not so many people. Need to ask if it’s the Italian place as it looks like a normal Thai beach restaurant. Definitely coming back for more and also why not the Thai food here too with the lovely chef!"
